The Australian Synchrotron has appointed four more members to the Scientific Advisory Committee, after the majority resigned in response to the actions of the Board, which has failed to heed their advice, concentrating too much on promoting a corporate culture, and lowered staff morale to an all-time low.

Hopefully this means that the Board will communicate more with the SAC (and the beamline scientists) and bring Australian synchrotron science forward.
